I am a Principal Engineer at Cisco Systems, working on WebEx Connect among other things. Before that, I was the CTO at Jabber, Inc, until Cisco's acquisition of Jabber in October of 2008.

IETF

I am one of the chairs of the XMPP working group at the IETF.
