These are Draft and Final XEPs that are undergoing revision. All such changes must be approved by the XMPP Council before they are officially published.

XEP-0060: Publish-Subscribe

Status: This XEP is currently under significant revision, so it is not ready for a Council vote on accepting the modifications.

XEP-0163: Personal Eventing Protocol

Status: Probably to be updated in concert with XEP-0060.

Calls for Experience

A Call for Experience is issued when the Council is considering advancement of a XEP from Draft to Final.

There are no Calls for Experience at this time.

Last Calls

A Last Call is issued when the Council is considering advancement of a XEP from Experiment to Draft (or, for informational specifications, Active).

There are no Last Calls at this time.

Last Calls have recently ended on the following specs:

• XEP-0227: Portable Import/Export Format for XMPP-IM Servers
• XEP-0244: IO Data

These specifications are undergoing revision based on feedback provided, and second Last Calls will be issued once the appropriate changes have been made.

To Be Deferred

Experimental XEPs are automatically deferred after 12 months of inactivity (i.e., no new published version).

The following XEPs are set to be automatically deferred within the next 30 days.
