Admin: I am an admin for most of the XSF machines. Here are some of the jobs I do:
Maintain backups(going to psu.edu infrastructure).
Install Debian bugfix packages.
Upgrade Debian releases.
Verify things work after upgrades.
Things I did this year:
It was kind of a mundane year. I upgraded atlas(the mx relay) to Wheezy. We have been working on the e-mail spam problem. We had hopes of getting a new http machine as athena's hard drive problems forced it out of service.
This year I plan on:
Get a good rblbnsd server + config running on atlas to help with the e-mail spam problem. Think about the xmpp registration problem.
