On 2006-07-26, [http://www.jabber.org/jeps/jep-0025.html JEP-0025] was deprecated in favor of [http://www.jabber.org/jeps/jep-0124.html JEP-0124: HTTP Binding]. So don't implement HTTP Polling -- implement HTTP Binding instead.
