I'm applying to join the XMPP Board.

History

I've been a heavy user and advocate of XMPP since 2004.

I currently serve as director for Copyleft Games Group, Google Summer of Code org admin for Python Software Foundation, lead Python XML SIG, and maintain several projects related to XMPP.

Goals

  • Promote more work on social networking over XMPP
  • Assist in fundraising and outreach
  • Help facilitate sprints and interop events
  • Stay out of the way of people doing awesome stuff
