Introduction
My name is Peter Waher and I work with Internet of Things, Smart Cities, Social Networks, ownership, assets and Financial Sevices. My interest in XMPP is to use it as the basis for a safe, secure, interoperable & federated communication infrastructure.

XMPP Activity
Following is a short list of my XMPP-related activities:
- Promoting the use of XMPP within open government and open banking, and other fields based on secure cross-domain interoperation requiring end-user consent.
- Providing smart payment services and digital identity using XMPP.
- LILS.IS, a distributed social network, distributed object database and collaboration platform based on XMPP.
- ABC4.IO, secure interoperation across domains by using smart contracts.
- Neuro-Foundation, as the basis for technology based on a next-generation distributed ledger Neuro-Ledger(R).
- Writing books on IoT and IoT-related protocols (such as Mastering Internet of Things: https://www.packtpub.com/networking-and-servers/mastering-internet-things).
- Promoting XMPP for IoT.
- Providing Test Integration Brokers for IoT, such as cybercity.online.
- Developed an XMPP broker for IoT.
- Developed a Simple IoT Client.
- Developed an IoT Gateway.
- Developed a Self-Soverign Digital Identity using XMPP on [Neuro-Access](https://github.com/Trust-Anchor-Group/NeuroAccessMaui).
- Developed a smart contract architecture using XMPP, that can be used together with the TAG ID. Smart Contracts can be designed using [LegalLab](https://github.com/Trust-Anchor-Group/LegalLab).
- Developed a protocol simulation tool for simulating large stochastic networks using XMPP in [ComSim](https://github.com/Trust-Anchor-Group/ComSim).
- Developed an array of communication-related libraries.
- I've authored and coauthored several XEPs that lay a foundation for interoperable IoT applications using XMPP.
Purpose for reapplying
The main purpose for reapplying for membership is to be able to propose XMPP extensions and support existing ones. My main interest is to expand XMPP to be used mainly within the following three areas:
- Internet of Things.
- Smart Cities
- Semantic Web (web 3.0).
- Decentralized social networks.
- Trust
- Digital Identities
- Smart Contracts
- Tokenization
- Financial Services
