Flow for XSF Board 2024

My agenda for the board is simple: I want to explore the options and assess the risks and benefits of transforming the XSF away from a perceived pure standards organization.

Let's strengthen the XMPP ecosystem by creating a central point of contact for XMPP developers, XMPP users, and XMPP protocol designers. A single point of contact, where the involved parties meet, would tighten the feedback loop from users to developers to the standard specifications.

The XSF could be that place; maybe it should be or not.

To find out, I would first like to create opinion polls among the XSF members.

If there is sufficient support for the basic idea, I would then put more concrete measures to a vote in a second step.
