Who Am I?
These days I'm working as CTO of Filament, an Internet of Things startup, where I'm collaborating again with Jeremie Miller (the inventor of Jabber). In the past I've written a whole lot of XMPP specifications (RFCs and XEPs), and for 15 years I was the Executive Director of the XSF.
Why Am I Reapplying?
Although I've stepped down as the Executive Director and I'm not as active with Jabber/XMPP as I used to be, I'm still serving as Treasurer and once in a while I can provide organizational insight or contribute to some of the XMPP specifications.
My current projects
Mostly I help out with running the Jabber.org service.
