My name is Peter Saint-Andre (a.k.a. stpeter) and I'm applying for the continuance of my XSF membership.
I've been an active member of the Jabber/XMPP community since late 1999. I've authored or co-authored the XMPP RFCs at the IETF, dozens XMPP Extension Protocols (XEPs), and XMPP: The Definitive Guide with Kevin Smith and Remko Tronçon. I've also served in various capacities within the XSF: Executive Director, Treasurer, and XMPP Council member (including Chair for a few years). I also run the jabber.org IM service as well as the "IM Observatory" at xmpp.net.
I used to work for Jabber Inc. and then Cisco. Since early 2014 I've worked for &yet, where I focus on the Talky videochat service (powered by XMPP, Jingle, and WebRTC) and our realtime consulting endeavors. I also post to my weblog once in a while and also to Twitter.
I would like retain my membership to continue my work within the XSF.
