About Me
My name is Gino Micacchi (but you will find more about me by searching google using my historycal nick 'ginomi'), I was member of the JSF starting in the late January 2004.
Jabber XMPP Projects
I was the author of TipicME, the mobile XMPP client that work on java-enabled mobile phones, and TipicWEB, the web-based client that work on Motime and Splinder as community tool for bloggers.
Research & Development
I worked on TipicME and TipicWEB, as already told, but also on a lot of experimental projects which use XMPP as transport protocol for Location Based Services based on context-aware presence; Also I worked on Web-IM presence integration of TipicWEB in Splinder/Motime. Again, I took last year a speech about XMPP as transport protocol for XML-based business application to the Mobile Force Forum.
