Peter Saint-Andre Application 2011
I've been working on Jabber/XMPP technologies since November 1999, originally on software documentation (jabberd HOWTO, WinJab User Guide, etc.), eventually transitioning mostly to protocol specifications. I've authored the XMPP RFCs and over 60% of the published XEPs. I was involved in formation of the XSF in 2001 and I have served as the XEP Editor since then, as Secretary from 2001 until 2005, as Executive Director from 2002 to the present, and for several years as a Council member and as Chair of the Council. I also co-authored "XMPP: The Definitive Guide" with Kevin Smith and Remko Tronçon. I work in the Collaboration Software Group at Cisco and you can reach me via both IM and email at firstname.lastname@example.org (IM preferred, naturally).
