Yes, XMPP rocks, is solid, and growing steady.

But still, we need to:

  • make it even more: reliable, complete, mobile-optimized
  • extend it to other spheres that IM: generic push mechanism, Real Time web, social network

For this, we need to go further in:

  • documentation
  • promotion

That's where I want to contribute more.
