In addition to the discussion lists, we host many permanent live chat rooms. Some popular rooms are:
- chat -- friendly discussion on any topic ( join )
- jabber -- general discussion about XMPP ( join | log )
- jdev -- geeky discussion about XMPP software development and protocols ( join | log )
- xsf -- discussion about the XSF organisation and standard related topics ( join | log )
To join a room, log on to any XMPP server with your favorite XMPP client, then join "room-name" on the conference.jabber.org chat service. If your IM client is really cool you may just be able to click the links above. We are also working to provide web access to these rooms.
