In addition to the discussion lists, we host many permanent live chat rooms. Some popular rooms are:

• chat -- friendly discussion on any topic ( join )
• jabber -- general discussion about Jabber ( join | log )
• jdev -- geeky discussion about Jabber software development and protocols ( join | log )

To join a room, log on to any Jabber server with your favorite Jabber client, then join "room-name" on the conference.jabber.org chat service. If your IM client is really cool you may just be able to click the links above.
