In accordance with the [http://www.jabber.org/jsf/bylaws.shtml JSF Bylaws], once a year the [http://www.jabber.org/jsf/ Jabber Software Foundation] holds elections for its [http://www.jabber.org/board/ Board of Directors] and for the [http://www.jabber.org/council/ Jabber Council]. Elections for the 2005-2006 Board and Council will be held on August 31, 2005 (see also the [http://mail.jabber.org/pipermail/members/2005-July/003269.html Meeting Notice]). If you are interested in running for Board or Council, please add a wiki page about your candidacy to one or both of the following sections by the close of business on August 16, 2005. (Note: Jabber Council members must be elected members of the JSF; however, there is no such restriction for the Board of Directors.)
