Sprints/2026-07 Vienna
The IETF126 meeting takes place in Vienna from Saturday 18 July to Friday afternoon, 24 July. There is a Hackathon on Saturday and Sunday for practical implementations of IETF standards, that is open to everyone and free to attend. You do have to register though ahead of time.
XMPP has had a small presence at previous IETF Hackathons but the fact that this IETF takes place in Vienna provides the opportunity to broaden the scope and invite people that would otherwise not attend IETF.

Traditionally the IETF Hackathon is hosted in one big room with multiple round tables that each seat ~8 people. We will try to get a 0.5 - 1.0 tables for the XMPP community but generally it is first come first serve so try to show up roughly on time.
