Starting in 1999, I authored lots of Jabber/XMPP documentation (HOWTOs, XEPs, RFCs) and served in a number of roles (XEP Editor, XSF Secretary, Council member, Board member, XSF Executive Director). I still serve as XSF Treasurer.

What Are You Working On?

Since retiring in 2022, I've been focused on non-technical projects (philosophy, poetry, music). Once in a while I post to the mailing list on technical topics, and I manage the XSF's finances and U.S. domicile as XSF Treasurer. Also I am an expert reviewer at the IETF regarding URNs and internationalization.

Why Are You Reapplying?

I still care about XMPP and it's good for the XSF's Treasurer to be an XSF member.
