Background and Current Occupation

I've been involved in the open source community for about 30 years, and joined the Jabber world 20 years ago when I started working on the XMPP server ejabberd at ProcessOne, which I still work on today.

My work involves evolving ejabberd to support more XEPs and helping companies build XMPP-based services for either small businesses or large-scale architectures.

Aims for Applying

I used to participate in summits in Portland and Brussels back in the day, and I want to get involved in protocol development again, as XMPP faces competition from new technologies.

Currently working on scaling e2ee in MUC rooms and imporving ejabberd.
