About Me
I’m a developer and service operator living in Berlin. I work for Freie Universität Berlin, where I’m part of the team responsible for deploying the university’s central Linux servers and operating most of the Internet services running on them. Apart from that, I do freelance work, usually implementing custom ejabberd extensions for various IM and IoT use cases. I also operate the conversations.im service together with Daniel Gultsch. I’ve been an XSF member since 2020; see my initial application for details on my other XMPP-related activities.
Why?
I'm reapplying for XSF membership as I’d like to keep in touch with the standardization process. One of my main interests is making our specs more approachable to (future) client (library) developers.
