About Me
I recently graduated with a Comp Sci MS focusing on job distribution using XMPP. In collaboration with the Brookhaven National Lab's STAR group, my XMPP-based system was in charge of coordinating between 600-1000 XMPP agents over the course of a month to run the largest proton collision physics simulation ever conducted in the "cloud" as of summer 2010 (p19).

XMPP Involvement
As part of the research, I started getting involved with SleekXMPP, fixing bugs and adding features that I needed for my project, as well as writing documentation when I figured out how parts of the library worked. Because of this, last summer at the XMPP summit in Portland, Fritzy gave me co-authorship of SleekXMPP. For the past year I've been upgrading Sleek with documentation, tests, and expanded XEP support through plugins. I've also updated Dave Cridland's Suelta SASL library to support Python3 so it could be used with the latest version of SleekXMPP.
Why Join?
Having spent the last two years using XMPP for various personal projects and working on SleekXMPP I want to finally get involved with the community.
